About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join the Employee Relations team at BHP Chile at the Principal Employee Relations Project Portfolio role, whose main mission will be to lead Labor Relations in mining projects, creating value through stakeholders management and efficiency in commitments. The role is based in Santiago and requires availability to travel to Asset.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Manager to develop and enabling strategies for the VP of Projects Growth.
- Lead labor relations in strategic projects for the company.
- Manage labor relations processes in accordance with the strategic framework, training teams to ensure their success.
- Advise project leaders on strategic labor relations matters.
- Lead key processes for labor compliance.
- Prepare and compile reports and develop materials critical to the success of the function.
- Manage critical stakeholder groups through standardized routines.
About You
The ideal candidate for the position must have:
- Experience working on a strategic mining project.
- Have relevant experience in mining.
- Experience in labor relations.
- Experience in identifying people and business risks.
- General knowledge of labor legislation, with an emphasis on issues arising from collective labor relations.
- English proficiency.
- Availability to travel to Asset.
