About the Role
Reporting to the Manager EVP & Projects, the Principal EVP & Projects will lead the design and deployment of the BHP Employee Value Proposition (EVP) framework and other HR functional projects.
Accountabilities
Project Management:
- Lead the implementation of new company-wide EVP framework.
- Oversee solution design, stakeholder engagement (including senior stakeholders), business case and project planning, project resourcing, change management, communications, establishment, and implementation.
Thought Leadership:
- Provide thought leadership and strategic input on EVP.
- Frame and present strategic concepts and thinking to decision-makers to achieve recommended solutions.
Target Operating Model Development:
- Develop a target operating model, including governance structures, operational support team, verification and reporting mechanisms, and other components to ensure the successful ongoing operations of an enterprise-wide EVP
Technology Roadmap Management:
- Manage the technology roadmap, strategy, design, and implementation for the EVP with support teams.
Change Management and Communications:
- Develop and execute change management and communication strategies for HR and leadership to implement the EVP
- Work closely with employer branding and candidate marketing teams to develop BHP’s external attractiveness
Training and Support Material Development:
- Create and manage training and support materials, including quick reference guides, instructional videos, and how-to videos.
- Oversee translation and publishing of materials on the SharePoint intranet.
Partnership and Integration:
- Effectively partner with and integrate across BHP Operating System (BOS) and HR teams, as well as external providers, to ensure sustainable delivery.
External Provider Management:
- Oversee and manage external providers within agreed frameworks, budgets, and scope to deliver outcomes.
About You
- Deep expertise in project management and delivery of large-scale HR projects with multiple senior stakeholders and providers.
- Experience working in an HR related field
- Proven experience working in a large and complex Human Resources Function, preferably within a Centre of Excellence (CoE), including governance of functional processes
- Experience in developing and implementing Employee Value Proposition (EVP) frameworks in large, multi-national companies
- Experience in talent acquisition or leading talent acquisition/recruitment teams or employer branding
- Extensive experience in running large-scale change programs, with a strong track record of successful implementations.
