About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Finance Analytics to help lead the next stage of Finance Analytics capability in Manila. This role will support the delivery of trusted, scalable and governed analytics solutions for Finance, helping teams simplify reporting, improve data quality, automate manual effort, and make better decisions through insight-led analysis.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with a dynamic global team to pioneer cutting-edge analytics initiatives in Finance, harnessing the power of AI to unlock insights, drive smarter decisions, and shape the future of digital Finance.
- Maintain analytics solutions which generate insights and enable data driven decision making for key global stakeholders.
- Drive analytics related initiatives within Assets and ensure local Asset-Finance teams are equipped with the best reporting and analytics tools for Month-End and planning cycles.
- Support the advanced analytics vision and roadmap for Finance and support improvement initiatives including data automation, data modelling and self-service, through global lens.
- Contribute to Finance Improvement’s Technology-Interlock role, whilst applying contextual business information.
- Leverage best in class reporting and analytics tools to improve Finance’s effectiveness e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Snowflake, Power Apps, Sagemaker, Gitlab.
- Support global initiatives which impact the future of data quality and progress advanced analytics in Finance.
- Provide Organisational Change Management (OCM) support for global Finance analytics improvement initiatives.
- Support change management, training, QRGs and adoption activities so tools are understood, trusted and used effectively.
- Coach and guide Specialists and stakeholders on good analytics practice, data governance and sustainable ways of working.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, Data Science or related fields
- Strong experience delivering analytics, reporting, data modelling or automation solutions and projects in a complex business environment.
- Advanced capability in Power BI and strong working knowledge of data modelling, data transformation, visualisation and report governance.
- Practical experience with enterprise data platforms and finance systems, ideally including Snowflake, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power Platform and GitLab or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguity, structure options and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex data and systems concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a focus on building sustainable, governed and scalable analytics solutions.
- Experience with SAP finance data, month-end reporting, budget cycles, cost models, asset finance analytics or master data governance highly regarded.
- Exposure to AI, Python, data science, advanced automation, workflow tools or analytics product ownership.
