About the Role

 

Contributes to ensuring the execution of safe operational objectives & service contracts are met, liaising between BHP and its employees, the vendor company and its workforce including sub-contractors and independent contractors

 

  • Develops Scopes of Work, follows contract management frameworks and resolves issues/variations through strong vendor relationships to drive safe and effective work practices across BHP  
  • Drives business improvement through the measurement of BHP's performance.  
  • Supports the management of vendor/customer selection, contracts, and performance to maximise operational and financial outcomes and mitigate BHP's exposure to risk.  
  • Supports strategic supplier relationships that target realisation of value over and above contract value through innovation, risk sharing, R&D and active commercial partnerships.  
  • Makes evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with longer term business objectives.  
  • Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Designs and implements governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.  
  • Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.  
  • Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.  
  • Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.  
  • Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.  

About You

 

  • Knowledge of HR operations processes
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiating favourable outcomes for the organisation
  • Managing multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Analysing data to manage vendor performance
  • Collaborating with various internal teams (e.g. procurement, finance, operational teams) to achieve business goals
