About the Role
Reporting to Lead HR Services West, and based in Perth we have an exciting opportunity for a Principal HR Service Partner role supporting our Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO) Portfolio:
In this role, you will be responsible for and have the opportunity to:
- Supporting Senior Leaders (General Managers, Managers) as a single point of contact for key people related transactions in Employee Central.
- Managing senior leader stakeholders, providing relevant context and positioning in relation to the H2R experience and performance.
- Lead and execute projects and initiatives aligned to the operational priorities of the team and function
- Coach and support Specialists and Analysts in effective prioritisation, high value work, project management and support effective stakeholder management
- Navigating the broader HR model and working with key HR stakeholders (ER, Consulting, Reward, HR Business Partnership) on the timely delivery of work packages
- Support risk management across payroll, movements and termination activities.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the GBS H2R value chain
- Acting as a concierge for senior leaders to handle complex/ sensitive cases or supporting in navigating the broader HR sub functions.
- Working closely with our HR Operations team and provide Asset/Function specific context where required including capacity planning for WAIO to achieve execution of key initiatives.
- Providing support with restructures, including org structure changes, bulk people moves/people data submissions.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience with Senior Leader engagement and comfortable working at all levels.
- Experience in HR Project Management to support asset wide initiatives.
- Have previous HR Generalist or transactional experience in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information, with the skills and knowledge to provide critical thinking and a solution focused nature.
- Understanding of HR tools, complex processes and systems with experience using SAP and Success Factors (would be of benefit)
- Have a continuous improvement mindset and can actively identify opportunities for improved customer outcomes and drive improvement projects.
- Ability to build strong rapport and trusted working relationships, a deep focus on uplifting customer experience and proven stakeholder management and prioritisation.
* Requirement of the role is ad hoc site travel to support our customers.
