About the Role

 

The Maritime Safety, Sustainability & Technical is seeking expressions of interest for a Specialist/Principal Maritime to join the team on a 4-month secondment commencing November 2025. The secondment has a focus on supporting the Maritime function for the development of their Data and Digital Strategy along with the delivery of ongoing data analytics, safety and sustainability projects.

 

Key accountabilities

 

  • Lead the development of Maritime Data and Digital Strategy through voyage lifecycle opportunity assessment with internal and external inputs and stakeholder alignment
  • Work with chartering and strategy teams to drive visibility and assurance of data, delivering reports and analysis on performance of the function
  • Drive continued improvement of Maritime data accuracy and analytics reports

About You

 

  • 5-10 years working experience in Commercial and related functions
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization techniques using Microsoft Power Bi
  • Effective and confident communicator, encourages debate, collaboration and explores possibility
  • High degree of persuasion, influencing and negotiation skills combined with autonom
  • Project planning and execution skills that enable identification and prioritization of critical work
