About Potash
The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.
Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for late 2026. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. Work Location
This role will be based out of BHP’s corporate office in Downtown, Saskatoon. The associated work schedule will be initially 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
BHP offers relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning, if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include (but are not limited to) new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home finding trip and a relocation allowance.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Responsible to ensure high quality 1SAP/APM master data for the asset classes including Underground Mine, Hoists, Mill & NPI.
- Actively collaborate and align with other Maintenance Readiness team members, Finance, HR and Supply teams to deliver a successful Equipment Maintenance Master Data.
- Coordinate with reliability engineers to ensure direct alignment between Failure Mode Effect Criticality Analysis (FMECA) studies and Master Data Objects for reliability analysis and decision making.
- Lead the master data upload templates governance process for 1SAP and APM.
- Collaborate with 1SAP global team to establish pipeline of master data upload into 1SAP on time.
- Lead the optimization of maintenance plans before activation in 1SAP.
- Develops, optimizes and governs master data and replication of best practices across assets and equipment while optimizing value for the long term.
- Manages new and existing sets of master data, runs and cleanses reports to remove errors and improve the quality of master data for Jansen project.
- Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
About You
- Post-Secondary engineering and/or equivalent.
- Experience with development and deploying green field equipment maintenance readiness tasks.
- Multiple years of experience with maintenance master data development process.
- Experience leveraging advancing reliability engineering tools and technology (ex. GE-Asset Performance Management, Availability Work Bench) to deliver outcomes.
