About the role

 

The Principal Projects People Excellence plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic people priorities that equip BHP Projects with a future-ready workforce empowered, capable, and aligned to deliver long term value.

You will lead initiatives that uplift capability across complex project environments, design learning experiences, and foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement. This role requires strong collaboration with senior stakeholders and the ability to navigate dynamic, fast-paced settings.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and implement capability frameworks and role clarity across projects.

• Design and deliver technical and professional development programs.

• Drive organisational culture and engagement strategies.

• Lead learning experience design and delivery for diverse audiences.

• Provide insights on talent pipelines and succession planning.

• Facilitate communities of practice and knowledge sharing.

• Partner with leadership to embed capability uplift initiatives aligned to emerging needs.

About You

 

Requirements:

 

 

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Adult Learning or related field, or demonstrated experience.

• Proven experience in HR, capability development, or organisational culture roles.

• Strong track record in leading capability programs from strategy through to delivery.

• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and navigating complex organisational landscapes.

• Certifications in change management, project management, or learning design (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, PMI) are desirable.
