About Potash and the Jansen Project
Imagine being part of something truly world‑class—something shaping the future of sustainable agriculture and responsible resource development. That’s the Jansen Potash Project.
Located about 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Jansen is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines on the planet. With a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment, this is the largest private development in Saskatchewan’s history and a bold step forward for BHP in Canada.
But Jansen is more than a mine—it’s a long-term opportunity to build something meaningful. During construction, it will create around 5,500 jobs, and once in operation, 900 permanent roles. Whether you're looking to grow your career, contribute to a sustainable future, or be part of a legacy project, Jansen could be where it all begins.
