About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health, Safety and Security (HSS) Team in the role of Principal Psychosocial Health. Reporting to the Superintendent Health, this role will provide an opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and experienced health professionals, working in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
This role is offered as Perth based, 5/2 Monday to Friday roster with occasional site travel as required.
In this role, you will be required to:
- Set strategic direction on occupational heath related matters specifically psychosocial risk management.
- Provide leadership, coaching and technical expertise on psychosocial risk management to customers and stakeholders to uplift organisational capability in psychosocial risk.
- Lead and execute projects and improvement initiatives related to psychosocial risk management to ensure compliance to regulatoy requirements and industry best practice.
- Develop tools, methodologies and strategies to manage psychosocial risk in the workplace aligning to legal and/ or regulatory requirement.
- Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of initiatives or improvements.
- Govern, maintain and improve health related standards, processes, systems and procedures specifically related to psychosocial health.
- Plan, track the delivery of and manage projects and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or other related health discipline
- Experience in designing and implementing psychosocial risk management process in large organisations
- Experience leading change and in delivering company-wide health related initiatives or projects in mining or other similar industries.
- Strong understanding of WA’s legislative, regulatory and industry requirements in area of psychosocial risk
- Demonstrated working experience in risk, health and safety management systems
- Ability to engage, coach and influence multiple stakeholders at varying levels of the organisation on health-related initiatives or matters.
- Ability to work autonomously while also thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
Location
Based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower "City Square" you will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office with state-of-the-art facilities.
