About the Role

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Processing Leaching Pillar team. We invite you to this all whom wish to participate in the recruitment process for the Protocol specialist role. This role corresponds to the administrator of the Document Program (“DP”), which is a tool to digitally share and store Confidential Information, being a key element to share sensitive information securely.

 

Main accountabilities:

-Verify that the Confidential Information received is properly classified as “Highly Confidential”, encrypted and password protected.
-Store and distribute the Confidential Information in different folders of the DP. Documents with Confidential Information are received by the Protocol specialist in a folder called “Transfer Folder” within the DP. The Protocol Specialist then “distributes” the Confidential Information within the DP into folders called “Sharing Folders”. 
-All those who have access to Confidential Information and the DP must have a previously signed Confidentiality Agreement. Additionally. Access to Confidential Information must be done “on a need to know basis”, that is, only that information that the person in question needs to know or access.
-Grant access to the DP to the authorized personnel according to their specific role (proprietary owner, Escondida authorized personnel, manager service provider, among others). In addition, any third party that has to access the DP has to have an extbhp.com account (PL has to coordinate these accounts).
-The Protocol Specialist must maintain a digital copy of all signed confidentiality agreements and an updated list of authorized persons, identifying their name, role and contacts.
-The Protocol Specialist must generate monthly reports that allow viewing who has had access to the DP and the movements made.
-Downloading and printing documents contained in the DP is prohibited. However, on an exceptional basis, the Protocol Specialist, upon written request, may grant permission to a specific authorized person to print a document. In any case, the Protocol Specialist must maintain a record of all permissions granted.
-Coordinate any functional support regarding the DP with the BHP Technology team, including monthly maintenance and improvements to the DP.
-Manage the contract services associated to the DP.
-Coordinate the on-boarding training for those participating in a Technology Development Project (TDP) and off-boarding for those who stop being part of a TDP.
-Closely collaborate with the BHP Legal team to obtain signed Confidentiality Agreements with any third party participating in the TDP.
-Closey collaborate with the BHP Legal team to prepare, send and reply any Communication Letter that has to be sent to the Intellectual Property Framework Agreement participants.
-Coordinate together with the Document Control service the review processes for the documents generated by the Manager Service Provider (a.k.a. Engineering Company)
-Make sure that the Manager Service Provider complies with the requirements from the Intellectual Property Framework Agreement and their Confidentiality Protocols.

About You

 

-Proven experience at least 10 years leading document control processes of high investment and complex projects, managing multiple stakeholders (functions and Asset).
-Professional Degree, desirable in engineering.
-Communication skills with multiple teams and companies.
-Required Fluency in English – Verbal and Written.
-This role requires site travel, with flexible work arrangements upon request.
