About the Role
Reporting to the Lead Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and undertaking reliability improvements initiatives.
This role can be Adelaide-based (with site travel to Olympic Dam as required) or Olympic Dam Residential on a Monday-Friday basis.
In this role you will:
- Demonstrate strong safety values by supporting the Field Leadership program to lead continuous safety improvement and performance.
- Identify, prioritize and initiate reliability improvement projects to improve plant reliability, availability and cost reductions
- Find new technologies and processes that improve equipment performance and reliability
- Develop detailed scopes of work and manage the successful execution of improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and validate the progress of improvement projects to ensure alignment with schedules and achievement of targeted results.
- Perform equipment capability and performance to support data-driven initiation of capital projects.
- Work collaboratively with other teams and external service providers
About You
- You will consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day, with a proven commitment to the well-being of those around you, demonstrating confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way.
- Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade and industry experience to support the role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
- Ability to influence, engage with, and communicate effectively across multiple levels, business units, and functional areas, from frontline employees to senior management.
- Working knowledge and understanding of applications such as SAP and MOC is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks.
- Experience with work management process.
