About the Role 

 

Goonyella Riverside Dragline and Dozer team are seeking highly skilled dozer push operators to operate converted Semi-Autonomous tractor system (SATS) dozers.  


This role will involve the remote operation of a fleet of semi-autonomous dozers, by way of Caterpillar command technology, from a central control room located onsite at Goonyella Riverside Mine. This role will also require you to operate dozers manually when the SATS system is not in operation, taking direction from the applicable supervisor or superintendent. The roster will be 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster, DIDO or Local to Moranbah.

About You

 

Your expertise in problem solving & diagnostics, coupled with your ability to communicate and build strong team relationships will make you an ideal candidate to help influence and shape our culture to ensure a safe, productive, sustainable and disciplined approach to work is maintained.

 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:


•    Bulk Dozer Push experience (minimum 12 months’ experience, e.g. slot/bulk pushing & working in spoil)
•    Current and Competent D11 Proficiency
•    A positive can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety improving mining efficiencies.
•    Exceptional work ethic & attendance rate.
•    Computer literacy and willingness to be upskilled in the Caterpillar command for dozing technology
•    Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills.
•    Valid C class manual unrestricted drivers license is essential.

 

The following is highly desirable but not mandatory:


•    Trainer assessor & excavator competency (in bulk push operations)
