About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor Facilities Maintenance you will be part of high performing facilities maintenance team at the Leinster Township and FIFO Village:
- You will be responsible for leading a dynamic group of trade’s assistants, co coordinating their works as instructed by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisors and Schedule.
- Computer skills knowledge of 1SAP, Excel and Word as some assistance is required with the purchasing and transport of goods to and from site.
- All general gardening and grounds maintenance in the town ship of Leinster and the SPQ in Leinster.
- Provide support to Leinster Airport staff inclusive of all ground handling and baggage handling as required.
- Operating machinery including Forklift, Skid Steers and Mini Excavators.
- Assist trades with excavations and any works as directed
- Assist with Working at height tasks as required
- Reticulation repairs and installations
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of care
About You
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of care
- A high regard for safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Experience using a range of garden power equipment, ride on mowers, whipper snippers, and blowers.
- Skid Steer experience
- A current C class driver’s license.
- A current HR drivers licence (desirable)
- Forklift Ticket
- Working @ Heights
- Test and Tag ticket (desirable)
- SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
