About the Role:
In support of our growing portfolio, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tool Store Person to join our Perth workshop team on 7 Day on & 7 Day off Roster.
This offers a great opportunity to gain experience with a leading industry company focused on resources the world needs.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of logistics and tooling for the Workshop team
As a candidate who enjoys working in a team of high safety and operational standards you will;
- Compliance management, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate calibration and certification control for tools and equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Maintain and monitor tool tracking systems to ensure accountability, availability, and effective utilisation of tooling assets.
- Support procurement and vendor management activities, including sourcing, purchasing, receipting, and liaising with suppliers to meet operational requirements.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Participate in tooling-related safety and risk management activities, ensuring safe handling, storage, maintenance, and compliance with workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Services team to support maintenance activities, optimise workflows, and achieve shared operational objectives.
About you:
We are seeking applications from candidates with interest in maintaining equipment tool stores:
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian ‘C’ class license
- Preference given to individuals with operating experience of any/multiple of the following: Forklift, Tool Store, Parts Coordinator, Warehousing or Trade Assistant experience
- Highly Desirable – 1SAP knowledge and experience
- High-Risk licence - Forklift
- Have exceptional risk management skills
- Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations
- Experience managing the day-to-day completion of scheduled maintenance work
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong presentation, communication and coaching skills and the ability to work closely in a team environment
- Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way.
- Be focused on working collaboratively within your team to achieve results.
What is on offer:
This is a permanent role, based within Perth Repair Centre located in Welshpool. This is a residential position, and you must be located within 45 minutes of the centre, in line with our fatigue management plan.
