About the Role
We are actively recruiting for Skirts, Roller and Scraper Technicians to work in our Port Hedland Mechanical Conveyor Shutdown team on a Dynamic 182 Day/Night roster.
Daily jobs could include but not limited to:
- Maintain & service hard skirts, rollers and Scrapers during the shutdowns at Nelson point and Finucane island,
- Includes remove & replace, inspect & measure and inspect & adjustment,
- Demobing old materials to bins,
- Troubleshooting to resolve issues with plant & equipment,
- Collaborating with the wider Port team to support sustainable operation of plant,
- Adherence to a scheduled plan of work,
- Quality assurance activities & detailed reporting,
- Assist in WIN development & revision for complex systems.
About you
We are looking for the following:
- Prior experience maintaining conveyor belt hard skirts, rollers, Scrapers or similar
- Non Trade qualified industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Must have a strong attention to detail,
- Must be able and willing to perform work that is repetitive in nature,
- Must have strong safety ethics,
- You will be a strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude,
- Willingness to learn and further develop,
- Able to commit to a Dynamic 182 Day/Roster roster.
