About the Role

 

We are currently looking for Signals Technicians to join our Rail Maintenance team, with a choice of rosters (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off and 1 week on, 1 week off).


This role will be responsible for implementing signal project upgrades, changes and maintenance. The successful candidate will be working towards the delivery of value-adding projects and maintenance to ensure high level of availability for signals infrastructure. 


Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

 

  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development
  • Implements signals works and design changes safely
  • Assist with scope identification for signaling projects and Maintenance (requirements and timeframes)
  • Ensure works are completed on time and up to standard
  • Assist with training of sub-contractors and other staff including apprentices and graduate Engineers
  • Signals maintenance & Fault finding

 

About You

As the successful candidate you will possess the following: 

 

  • Qualifications at a trade certificate level in Railroad Signaling 
  • Cert IV Electrical Rail Signaling (Essential)
  • A Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
  • C class Drivers Licence
