About the Role

This role is forms part of our Global Reward team and works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and determine how data can be used to achieve process transformation goals and technical solutions. 

A key component of the position is to design data modelling processes, create algorithms and predictive models to help analyse and present the HR data with meaningful insights. 

Knowing your way around digital systems is crucial in this role, you will be expected to use tools or systems, including  actions such as creating, maintaining and updating HR dashboards according to the business requirements.

Core Accountabilities include:

  • As the focal person for HR Reward Data Science, Reporting and Automation, accountable for working collectively and collaboratively with other team members to design data models and implement solutions through an innovative and business focused approach.
  • Supports more advanced process analytics capabilities within the organisation to bring about innovation and digitally advanced approach to the business.
  • Gathering, validating and understanding data relevant to the problem statement to meet the HR stakeholders reporting and data analytics requirements during remuneration reviews such as gender pay, indigenous pay and the annual rewards review.
  • Working with other teams in Technology and/or Digitisation team and other relevant technology or system stakeholders to review and iterate data products to fit emerging market trends.
  • Designing data modelling processes to create algorithms and predictive models and perform custom process analysis.
  • Manipulating Human Resources data sets and using them to identify trends and present and communicate meaningful conclusions to stakeholders to make informed strategic business decisions.
  • Designing, creating, and managing process data architecture
  • Partners with the HR Reward Operations/Project manager in producing project plans and creating relevant documentation and design models to support implementations
  • Building testing harnesses whilst ensuring that industry best practices and standards are followed.

About You

  • 5+ years of relevant analytics experience
  • Proven experience in data visualisation tools (TIBCO Spotfire preferred)
  • Strong SQL, IronPython and JavaScript language capabilities
  • Demonstrates ability to ingest different file types into visualisations, including DXP, SBDF, TXT, XLSX, CSV, STDF, MDB, MDE, ACCDB, ACCDE, SAS7BDAT, UDL, SFS, LOG, SBDF, SHP.
  • Proficient in data collection, data organisation, analysis, visualisation and presentation of data
  • Ability to optimise dashboards with significant volumes of data
  • Proven ability to take complex problems and analysis to distil into simple, easy to understand insights
  • Strong technical design skills
  • HR experience in an international organisation is an advantage
  • Proven ability to deliver effective communications both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
