About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced team player to join our Engineering team as Specialist Asset Integrity Management Systems. This role will be based in our Adelaide office with occasional travel to site, on a Monday to Friday roster.
Reporting to the Lead Asset Integrity Management Systems, you will play a key role in implementing, monitoring and improving BHP’s asset integrity management systems across Copper SA. The Asset Integrity Team oversees asset strategy, embeds best asset management practices and continuously improves asset monitoring across Copper SA.
In This Role You Will:
- Develop and implement Asset Integrity Management systems across Copper SA to meet organisational goals and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in maintenance, production, engineering, finance and leadership to align asset priorities and support informed decisions.
- Provide 1st line of assurance for AIMS process to all Copper SA sites and report back on Asset Integrity performance to the group risk owner and MECoE.
- Continuously improve asset management using data and industry best practice to optimise inspection programmes, reduce costs and boost reliability.
- Mentor and develop customers in use of assess management systems.
- Travel to Copper SA sites to engage with stakeholders and team members.
- Participate in and coordinate audits from internal and external stakeholders.
About You
- Hold a relevant engineering degree with eligibility for Chartered status with Engineers Australia.
- Bring experience in asset integrity, reliability or inspection within heavy industry, mining, oil & gas or similar sectors.
- Excellent strategic thinking, situation analysis, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong technical expertise in asset integrity management, risk-based inspection and compliance.
- Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Show strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
