About the Role
We are seeking proactive and talented individuals to join our high-performing team on site. Reporting to the Technology Site Operations Supervisor, we are looking for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting, problem solving and are keen to apply those skills to real world challenges. Working on a world class site, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Operational Technology systems function seamlessly to support safe and efficient operations.
This position is based at Olympic Dam and operates on 7 on / 7 off roster (day shift/night shift), with flexible options for residential (Roxby Downs), Drive in Drive out (DIDO/BIBO) from South Australia regional areas or Fly In Fly out (FIFO) from Adelaide.
In this role your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development

- Provide input to resolve priority technical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Provide breakdown support and routine maintenance for:
- wireless communication infrastructure both on site and in remote locations
- an extensive CCTV system, including configuration, installation and troubleshooting
- an extensive radio system, including configuration of new radios, installation and troubleshooting
- an extensive Gallagher system, including configuration of new units, installation and troubleshooting
- Engage in site processes, risk assessments and management of change processes for implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Execute work orders as per schedule and/or as directed by the Technology supervisor and completing the relevant work instructions associated with the work orders.
About you:
- Trade certificate in Auto Electrical, Radio Communications, Electronics or Industrial Electrical
- Familiarity with mining Operations Technology, Digital Radio, CCTV, and Communication Network
- Open/unrestricted Cabling Licence preferable
- Candidates with a security license will be favourably considered
- Experience in working in industrial environments highly favourable
- Excellent communication skills and focus on delivering for our customers
- Takes ownership of ideas/solutions and sees them through to maturity.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and relationship building.
- Australian C class driver’s license
