About the Role
- Accommodation forecasting and execution of accommodation management with Infrastructure & Services (I&S) and if required, third party accommodation vendors.
- Interface with I&S for strategic flight and logistics planning and coordination.
- Planning and coordination of mass movement of project personnel for projects
- Reconciling invoices and back-charges for flights and accommodation.
- Execution of 90 day mobilisation audit programme.
- Projects representative with I&S for major process changes or working group input.
- Training compliance management and reporting for Project team and Contractors
- Ownership and update of Contractor Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and interface with site access systems
- Collating and reporting of monthly project exposure hours.
- Develops project deliverables and integrates work across a project or within defined area(s) of scope through interfacing with stakeholders and managing the successful transition of project/phase closure.
- Monitors project objectives/plan/schedules and drives continuous improvement initiatives across a project (or within a defined area of scope).
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Monitors and provides inputs to the management of a project to ensure it is being delivered safely, and to approved quality, time and cost targets.
- Monitors detailed delivery and performs analysis to ensure that deviations from the execution plan are raised, communicated and rectified.
- Integrates and co-ordinates the stakeholder involvement and functional inputs required for delivery of a project.
- Captures and communicates internal lessons learned and external best practices across the project and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures the project is delivered aligned to the BOS Practices.
About You
- Tertiary Qualification in a technical discipline (engineering or construction preferred) or in a business / financial / commercial discipline.
- Holds AIPM Reg PM CPSPM or CPPM is desirable
- Have an overriding commitment to the BHP Charter Values
- Be proactive and self-driven, with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders, consultants and contractors.
- Good technical and communication skills, including the ability to analyse data and produce concise reports and presentations.
- Solutions focused with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Team player who operates with honesty and integrity and has the ability to work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management
