About the Role 

  

As Specialist Finance Business Partner, you will partner with key stakeholders to provide financial guidance, coaching, direction and analysis to facilitate well-informed decisions and to create and protect value.   

  

Your Responsibilities;
 

  • Partner with stakeholders to drive improvement and outcomes and to create and protect value.  
  • Coach stakeholders to improve their understanding of the financial implications of decision making and drive discipline on cost ownership and management.  
  • Actively support process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and standardisation.  
  • Lead the development of financial input to Finance 2-Year Budgets, including driving performance to benchmark.  
  • Reconcile and review actual outcomes (both Operating and Capital expenditure) for alignment with budget and with continuous improvement goals.  
  • Review monthly reporting and forecasting outcomes.  
  • Support stakeholders with master data accuracy and accountability   
  • Perform commercial evaluation and make informed recommendations on key decisions and contracts, including capital projects and transition of work to GBS..  
  • Approve (or recommend for approval) financial analysis performed in the assessment of improvement projects, cost savings initiatives and cost drivers.  
  • Support financial analysis and implementation of the transition of work to Global Business Services (GBS).  

  

  

About you  
 

  • Strong experience in finance and/or commercial roles.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and cross functional teams to deliver value.  
  • Demonstrate capability to create a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and delivery of value-add results.  
  • Enthusiastic and confident with ability to motivate others and work autonomously.  
  • Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and problem solve.  
  • Strong business awareness, commercial mind-set and risk awareness skills.  
  • Experience in SAP and excel preferred.  
  • Fluency in English.
