About IOPS
Perth City Square is home to BHP Iron Ore’s state-of-the-art Integrated Operations (IOPS) at Iron Ore. Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using advanced, real-time technology to enable visibility and control, across the entire Iron Ore supply chain.

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Specialist Fleet Systems AH Control to join the AH Central Control team on a Lifestyle Roster based out of Perth - 4 Days, 5 Off, 5 Nights, 4 Off, 5 Days, 5 Off (Rotating).
As part of IOPS and reporting to the Supervisor AH Mine Control, the Specialist Fleet Systems AH Control will support the department on day-to-day operations. You will take an active role in ensuring compliance to schedule and operating philosophies, driving a culture that not only conforms to company safety standards, but also seeks to continuously improve operating efficiency and realise cost benefits.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Support and encourage the team to build a safety orientated, high performance culture, with a strong focus on continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor controllers on the Dispatch and FrontRunner Systems
- Work with the RND controller within shift with optimising the fleet
- Liaise between site and control to communicate key Mine Control System issues and ensure that the system is setup in line with current AH Mine Control standards
- Gather evidence, lodge incident and follow up on resolution of any Mine Control System issues
- Monitor and optimise Dispatch and FrontRunner mine model health and data integrity
- Run tactical implementation plans to improve system functionality and optimise workflow interfaces between control and site
- Create dashboards/reports that identify performance gaps and track selected KPIs for crew performance
- Provide detailed analysis on incident investigations and safety events

- Strategic, forward thinker with the ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Experience in data analytics & problem solving
