About the Role
The Specialist Investor Relations (IR) contributes by supporting the global team on material preparation for analyst and investor engagement to facilitate a full and fair market value for BHP's equity.
Core Accountabilities
• Support the development and execution of the IR strategy for engagement with investors and analysts on all matters BHP in the EMEA and Americas regions with the aim of ensuring BHP remains highly rated relative to our peers.
• Support the maintenance of a strong and mutually beneficial relationship between BHP, sell-side analysts and investors primarily in the EMEA region
• Develop content and materials and deliver support for key IR releases and events including Financial Results and Operational Reviews, market briefings, site tours and Annual Reporting as well as work on ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders.
• Manage and develop responses to investor enquiries and correspondence.

• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills essential to building and maintaining constructive relationships with a range stakeholders.
• Engage effectively with subject matter experts across BHP.

• Excellent organisational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple deliverables across time zones.
About You
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, science or engineering.
• Post graduate qualification in finance or accountancy would be well regarded.
• Proven experience in investor relations, finance or analytical roles in a publicly listed company, consultancy, or investment bank.
• Preference for some exposure to the mining, industrial or cyclical industries.
• A good understanding of financial statements and key metrics for financial markets.
• Track record of preparation of written materials and presentations as well as providing clear communications to senior leaders on this content.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships across organisations.
