About the Role
- Lead and implement maintenance strategy improvement initiatives that balance risk, performance, and cost over the equipment's life for MECOE governed equipment.
- Provides technical input into Total Equipment Strategy (TES) deployments.
- Engages with the operations, relevant functions, engineering, Repairable & Warranty, Planning & Scheduling and the OEM to optimise maintenance performance.
- Deploy optimised maintenance strategies by following the established processes (such as MOC, plan restarts, act as SME reviewer for materials etc.)
- Participate in equipment criticality assessments
- Act as custodian of maintenance strategies, reviewing Master Data Requests related to governed maintenance
- strategy and preventative maintenance instructions (PMIs), strategy content in Standardised Work.
- Implement and replicate reliability improvements and best maintenance practices on MECoE governed equipment.
- Govern and maintain alignment of maintenance strategy content between APM, SAP, and Standardised Work (SW).
- Proactively monitor maintenance strategy and equipment performance and deviations from performance on a routinely basis.
- Contribute as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Equipment Failure Investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) triggered by either MECoE or Operations including ownership of actions related to maintenance strategy changes.
About You
You will have a related tertiary or trade qualification and demonstrated experience in supporting maintenance execution or equipment improvement strategies or iniatives.
You will:
Have strong analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Work closely with stakeholders and SMEs to formulate asset management strategies from insights
Confidently present ideas, results, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organisational levels
Be a collaborative team player that is results orientated
Other highly regarded experience includes:
Asset Management experience in mining, manufacturing, or similar heavy industry
