About the Role
We are currently seeking applications from driven and experienced professionals to joint our Maintenance Strategy Governance (MSG) team. If you have a background in maintenance, engineering, or the resources sector, and are passionate about continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
As a key member of the MSG team, you will play a vital role in enhancing how we maintain our equipment. This includes contributing to the development, governance, and optimisation of maintenance strategies, as well as supporting product management initiatives.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the business, including Operational leadership and other sub-functions within the Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to foster collaboration and travel as required.
About You
As a successful candidate, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience engaging with equipment OEMs to address product issues, leveraging global contractual agreements and product defect remediation clauses.
- A tertiary or trade qualification, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
- A solid understanding of the maintenance ecosystem and its interaction with Engineering, Projects, and Operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curious mindset and the ability to apply critical thinking to generate business value.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to promoting and supporting workplace diversity.
- The ability to quickly build effective working relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making, negotiate positive outcomes, and meet business and customer expectations.
- Confidence in navigating ambiguity, creating clarity, making high-quality decisions, and managing change through influence.
- Adaptability to change and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables across stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- Preferably, expertise in:
- Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
- Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Asset Performance Management (APM).
- Downtime Accounting Systems (DAS).
- Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as 1SAP.
Location
The role will be based in corporate offices in Brisbane. You will be working on Monday to Friday roster with 3-2-1 arrangement. Three days from the office, two days from home, one of those days must be a Monday or Friday. Occasional site travel may require.
