About the Role
Reporting to the MIM (Major Incident Management) Superintendent, you will provide support to the Major Incident management process across the onsite operational technology and systems of Mineral Americas.
- Lead the major incident resolution process.
- Provides initiation of technical and stakeholder bridges for management critical incidents, P1 – P2 and P3+.
- Provides 24x7 level 2 technical support and response to manage the incident to minimize downtime and restore critical services as quickly as possible.
- Coordinates recovery actions and plans for Major Incidents through the technical bridge.
- Ensures that an accurate timeline of activities on a Major Incident is documented at the incident ticket.
- Executes notifications, timely and to the distributions lists predefined, as are defined in Major Incident Management Procedure.
- Approves ECR (Emergency Change Request) as a workaround/recovery option.
- Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Identifies, engages, and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders through incident timeline.
- Engages the capabilities of the Technology entire organization, during the management of a major incident.
- Performs Safety Field Leadership activities on-site.
About You
Required:
- Tertiary education in Technology related qualifications.
- Relevant work experience in Information Technology with at least 1 years in service management.
- Certification in ITIL Foundation (Essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically through email and oral presentations, in both Spanish and English.
- Must be willing to work a shift schedule (holidays & weekends required).
Recommended:
- Experience in technology, interacting with business areas on different processes.
- While it is not mandatory, experience with “Service Now” will be an advantage.
- Demostrate experience supporting one or more of the following production systems:
- Hosting
- Mining Systems
- Industrial Wireless networks
- Networks
- Production Applications
