About the Role

 

The team purpose is to support a wide range of safety and production critical Operational Technology (OT) to prevent or minimise impacts to our Minerals Australia assets caused by failure in critical technology services.
 


This position will work on our Lifestyle Roster, working a pattern of days and nights, with a block of days off at the end of each swing.  Employees on this roster enjoy two full weekends off out of four and will align to the following shift rotation: 2D2N5X, 2D3N4X, 3D2N5X. Shifts are 12.5 hours including handover, and you will benefit from additional shift allowances, as part of your remuneration package. As an added benefit, those on a Lifestyle Roster will also enjoy an additional week of annual leave per year. 

 

The fun parts of this role include: 

 

  • Provide 24x7 Level 2 technical support and response to all support queries.
  • Proactive monitoring & event management to maintain critical Operation Technology availability.
  • Rapidly provide break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages.
  • Safe execution of planned work
  • Engaging with site operation stakeholders during events, incidents, and changes
  • Working collaboratively in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment

 

About You

 

  • Demonstrate experience supporting one or more of the following production systems: 
    • Hosting: (Citrix Virtual Application platforms and Virtual Desktops, VMware, and Windows/Linux OS; Compute technologies, including CISCO UCS, Dell VxRail / VxBlock, NetApp Flexpods & NetApp Metroclusters
    • Mining Systems (FMS/AHS): FMS Modular, Minestar, Surface Manager (Autonomous Drilling)
    • Industrial Wireless networks (e.g. LTE, Cisco, Rajant's BreadCrumb, TropOs) 
    • Digital Radio (e.g. Motorola P25, Tetra DAMM, Tait)
    • Networks: SD WAN, WAN and LAN, F5 Load balancer/routing and Switching protocols
    • Production Applications: Access Management systems (Suresite and Cardax)/ Laboratory Information Management System
    • Priority Support Services: Level 1 critical applications and technology support for services situated within the Integrated Remote Operations Centre (IROC) spanning mine, plant, port, rail, and scheduling functions 
  • Previous mining/resources remote site process control experience preferred, including operational support of mission critical services.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of cross functional stakeholders.  
  • Team oriented and results focused. 
  • Familiarity of ServiceNow (or familiarity with ITSM systems) and SAP.
