About the Role

 

  • Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Our Requirements, Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations. 
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibility. 
  • Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders. 
  • Coordination of Forecast and Budget Financial Submissions including preparation of timetables and communications. 
  • End User Support including troubleshooting Planning queries. 
  • Perform Planning Activities for data completion and accuracy within the Planning system. 
  • Maintain the governance and integrity of the Budgeting and Forecasting system. 
  • In collaboration with key internal stakeholders, manage and prioritise pipeline of Budget & Forecasting system improvement initiatives to deliver maximum productivity benefit for business users, including analysis of business processes to identify improvement and automation opportunities. 
  • Analyse the impact of proposed Budget & Forecasting system changes across people, technology, strategy and business operations, and deploy effective change management with stakeholders. This includes facilitating requirements validation and conceptual design workshops with internal stakeholders and developing business requirements documentation as required, to allow the design and build of system solutions. 
  • Completion of user acceptance and regression testing for B&F system changes, together with business key users. 
  • Keep up to date with latest trends and best practices in planning and business intelligence. 
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and provide assistance with queries and requests  

 

About You

 

  • To be successful in securing this role, ideally you will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Finance or Accounting). 

  • Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CA), either completed or currently pursuing will be added advantage 

  • Significant experience working with a large corporate or professional environment in a business planning capacity. 

  • Demonstrated financial planning process knowledge, data analytics and diagnosis with a continuous improvement mindset. 

  • Good understanding of technology infrastructure and master data management principles.  

  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and deliver as needed. 

  • Experience working with Business Planning Consolidation (BPC), PowerBi and SAP Analytics Cloud planning highly advantageous. 

  • Fluent in English

  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
