About the Role
We seek a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Specialist Planning & Central Processes for a permanent position based in the Philippines.
This role will support the accurate and timely completion of financial planning activities, promote process standardization, and provide guidance on budgeting and forecasting to enable effective decision making. It will also manage the timely and accurate processing of cash, payments, and receipts, contributing to financial reporting reliability, supporting operational efficiency, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key Accountabilities
Planning Support
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Perform Planning Activities for data completion and accuracy within the Planning system.
- Manage stakeholder communications and support, while coordinating end‑to‑end Forecast and Budget financial submissions, including timetables and required documentation.
- Maintain the governance and integrity of the Budgeting and Forecasting system.
- Manage and prioritise Budget & Forecasting system improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders, analysing processes for optimisation and automation, assessing change impacts, and leading requirements validation, design workshops, and documentation to enable effective solution delivery.
- Completion of user acceptance and regression testing for B&F system changes, together with business key users.
Central Processes
- Provide support across central processes by overseeing clearing, performing reconciliation, driving timely issue resolution and addressing business queries.
- Act as Key User for Central Processes by driving stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements, and providing reliable insights that support well-informed decision making.
About You
To be successful in securing this role, ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications:
- Degree qualification in Commerce (Finance or Accounting).
- Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CA), either completed or currently pursuing will be added advantage
Experience and Technical Competencies:
- Experience working with a large corporate or a shared service function.
- Strong analytical skills with focus on accuracy, validation and problem solving.
- Demonstrated financial planning process knowledge, data analytics and diagnosis with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Good understanding of Finance and Technology infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and deliver as needed.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with Power BI, SharePoint, SAP, Business Planning Consolidation (BPC) and SAP Analytics Cloud planning highly advantageous.
