About the Role

 


As a Specialist Project Delivery, you will be fundamental in the success of the Copper South Australia project.

 

Achieving success will be demonstrated throughout the execution phase of a project to deliver the approved business objectives, within the constraints of scope, time, quality safety and budget, to ensure Project transition to Operations.

 

This is a Adelaide based role with travel to site as required.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Support the execution of the project to ensure safe delivery, and to the approved quality, schedule, cost and business case targets

  • Implement project delivery strategies, methodologies, systems and execution plans, including risk and quality management plans generating actions to mitigate impacts, including health, safety and business risks

  • Achieve the outcomes defined in the Statement of Requirements (SoR)

  • Ensures the project moves forward, minimising delays and setbacks in the drive to attain the Project KPI’s

  • Develop and builds communication processes to support project and operational outcomes

  • Drive best value decision making to ensure the project moves forward, minimizing delays and setbacks in the drive to attain the Project KPI’s

  • Maintain strong and transparent relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development

About You

 

  • Skilled in working within a team to deliver complex and diverse project successfully
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a technical discipline
  • Experience with Pyromet and shutdowns are also advantageous
  • Involvement with mining, processing, smelter or technical projects will be advantageous
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills that support mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Organisational skills for managing deliverables team and multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in ‘Safety Leadership’
