About the Role
To provide specialist support to the Principal and execute tasks to deliver facilities services that enable the workplace experience and meet local business requirements.

Develops, operates, and manages hard and soft facilities services and budgets of Opex US$1M and commercial projects of up to US$2M and conducts performance management reporting to drive productive, safe and cost-effective workplace operations across BHP corporate office.

Facilities Operations Process Control: Monitors and implements standard operating procedures, controls and work instructions for the effective execution of services.

Operations: Operates the scope (via service vendors) of facilities hard services for the Brisbane corporate offices, such as the provision of maintenance, contractor management, asset management, access, office use, and other minor project works. And as required may support on facilities soft services such as accommodation leasing, occupancy planning, workplace experience, and etiquette.
- Risk Management: Coordinates the delivery of activities related to risk management, health, safety, physical security, business continuity, emergency response and risk control procedures.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Supports the engagement with line managers and key contacts in local and regional offices to deliver world class standards by understanding business priorities and influencing outcomes to ensure alignment.
- Field Leadership: Supports the delivery of the annual field leadership safety calendar and requisite field leadership initiatives and activities, surrounding P&W’s scope.
- Personal compliance to: BHP Charter, Group Level Documents (GLDs), BHP Operating System (BOS), and Code of Business Conduct,
- Mitigates people, community, human rights and modern slavery, environmental and climate risks across the value chain, in alignment with public policy and our sustainability and climate commitments.
- Designs and implements governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.

About You
You will have a strong background in property, workplace and facilities management and it would be advantageous if you have had exposure to working in a commercial environment.
Additionally, you will have following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor degree or Advanced Diploma in Property, Engineering, Project Management, Economics, Strategy or Business Administration
Experience in managing capital projects and operational budgets
Experience in corporate property / real estate facilities management and operations
Exposure to managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
Exposure to project, change and risk management practices
