About the Role

 

We are looking for highly motivated Specialists to join our Shanghai team and support our Global Marketing Teams. This exciting opportunity gives candidates the chance to shine on an international stage while working in a diversified environment.  You will be a dynamic and customer-oriented individual with a strong commercial sense, team working skills, as well as experience in commodity of mining/resources is preferred. 
 

 

  • Liaises with internal/external customers, team members, service providers and commercial staff as necessary for sales contract execution.
  • Core execution process including customs clearance, Billing document creation and cancellation, Payment status follow up, Cargo delivery Notice issuance, Material movement ticketing and analysis updates, SAP updates to nomination, sales orders, contracts and delivery legs, VAT billing, payment to Vendors etc.
  • Planning and prioritizing your own work, identifying priorities and timeframes focusing effort on the things that matter most and create value
  • Consistently look for opportunities of improvement and streamline the process. Engages in cross functional working groups to support functional excellence, governance, general improvement initiatives. Contributes and/or leads productivity improvement projects.
  • Have a clear understanding of governance controls (including external regulations) applicable to the contracting process and executes the controls diligently.  Proposes alternative controls and/or simplification opportunities when governance/compliance frameworks seem ineffective. Identify and confidently escalate risk control deficiencies which factor in applicable regulations, laws and policies.
  • Understand the value of key commercial terms and provide advice as required. identify and proposes opportunities to improve tactical delivery of the strategy in contracts and contribute feedback to the Sales Operations/Planning teams. 
  • Construct and deliver clear messages by adapting the level of detail and style for different audiences and situations.  You're approachable, tactful, genuinely caring and considerate of others, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. 

About You

 

  • Highly accountable and self-disciplined in work.
  • Have the initiative, capability and achievements in learning new things and continuous improvement.
  • Have a basic understanding of international trade, distribution, contract law, incoterms 
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain stakeholder relationships, work with and influence a range of cross functional stakeholders
  • Relevant working experience in Warehouse Sales is preferred, or similar experience in supply chain management, sales distribution or order fulfilment. 
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP or similar ERP supply chain systems
  • Language: Fluent in English, both verbal and written
