About the Role

 

Reporting to the Superintendent HS&SEM, this position is accountable for supporting our Health, Safety, Security and Emergency Services Standardised Work strategic initiatives as part of our overall BOS maturity. Working with Asset BOS Teams, Site BOS Teams & Functional Teams, you will ensure the HSS Function is set up for success to embed Standardised Work as the way of working for our frontline.


BOS is a way of leading and working that makes improvement part of what we do every day and focuses on Serving Our Customers, Pursuing Operation Perfection and Empowering Our People.

 

 

This role is based in Adelaide or Roxby Downs on a Monday-Friday basis (with flexibility)  Some site travel is required.  This role will be offered as a 12 month fixed-term opportunity.

 

 

Key deliverables include:

 

  • Coordinating the implementation of Standardised Work across all departments.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise value from standardising work and processes; building project timelines and ensuring resources are deployed across execution and Improvement teams to deliver this value.
  • Influencing teams to maximise uptake of Standardised Work in the highest value areas to maximise safety and productivity.
  • Providing training to teams to ensure long-term sustainability of Standardised Work.
  • Provide coaching from the frontline through to Managers in identifying opportunities to standardise and improve processes and tasks.
  • Executing data entry into the Standardised Work system as part of the implementation.

About You

 

We are looking for a self-motivated individual that possesses leadership and influencing skills, coupled with an understanding of the business and how value is added. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to build capability in others and achieve business outcomes through coordination of projects and working with key stakeholders.



The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience implementing Standardised Work.
  • Significant experience using continuous improvement methodologies and project management skills to deliver business improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and a demonstrated history of influencing outcomes across multiple departments from the frontline through to senior leadership.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, flexibility and willingness to see projects through to completion.
