South Flank
Located approximately 130km north-west of Newman, South Flank together with Mining Area C will become one of the largest iron ore hubs in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore. South Flank will help to maximise the volume and quality of BHP’s iron ore production, which is essential for the world’s steel.

About the Role
Reporting to the Fixed Plant Training Supervisor, your responsibility will be to train and verify competency of fixed plant personnel including both fixed plant equipment and mobile plant equipment (operation and maintaining).
As a Specialist Fixed Trainer / Assessor, you will be responsible for implementing and executing training plans, source resource materials and deliver consistent instruction in line with WAIO policies and procedures.
This role is a FIFO roster from Perth or Busselton on an 8 day on, 6 days off - day shift only roster.

The following attributes and qualifications will also be highly regarded:
- Has a demonstrated history of training and assessment of fixed plant isolations, fixed plant equipment and associated mobile plant equipment
- Effective communication skills and proven ability to engage and build relationships across multiple layers of the organisation
- Organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work independently or within a team
- Enthusiastic about passing on their knowledge and experience to others
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40116 / TAE40122) or TAESS00015 / TAESS00019– Enterprise Trainer & Assessor Skill Set
- Resource Processing (CERT 11, 111 or IV) – completion or progress towards
- Holds a minimum of a C class drivers’ licence (HR preferred)
- WA High Risk Work License – LF, WP DG, RB and cranes (desirable)
- Statement of Attainment / Experience – skid steer, telehandler, IT loader, excavators and overhead cranes (desirable)
- Statement of Attainment – Work at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres & Perform First Aid
- Microsoft Competency (desirable) – Word, Excel & Outlook
