About The Role
We are seeking a talented Mining Professional to join our inclusive and high performing Mine Services team within the Mining Production department. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for providing directional guidance to the business through our strategic mine planning activities, including overseeing specified legislative requirements, compliance to the weekly schedules, and defining processes to achieve optimal operational outcomes.
In addition, the role will require cross-collaborative engagement to lead the execution of mine services activities to ensure the team performs safely and provide feedback to production scheduling on mine services improvement.
In this role you will:
- Ensure Mine Development activity is completed safely, on-time and with minimal re-work. This includes managing compliance against short, medium and long-term plans and preparation remediation plans as required
- Manage value add projects in line with business plans, ensuring costs are within the approved expenditure levels and projects meet desired outcomes
- Be responsible for the Condition and Performance of the Haulage Network.
- Work as part of a strong, inter-disciplinary team operating across key aspects of the business
- Communicate with other technical and operational staff members and teams to ensure optimal designs are executed to ensure long term productivity of the Mine
- Providing leadership, support and mentoring for the mine services team
About You
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing large, diverse teams, with a strong focus on fostering an inclusive team culture and driving continuous improvement
- Proven capability in delivering high‑quality risk assessments and maintaining safe, well‑controlled work environments
- Experience supporting mine enabling works, including haul road construction, pattern preparation, and project‑based civil works
- Experience with water management and pit dewatering is highly desirable
- Exposure to contractor coordination and relationship management will be highly regarded
- This role offers an excellent entry pathway for professionals with civil construction experience who are looking to transition into the mining industry
