About the Role

 

Superintendent – Geoscience Systems and Data Management (GSDM)

 

Aligned with the Geoscience mission of "delivering orebody knowledge to achieve our full potential", this role is helping to shape the future of WAIO. As Superintendent GSDM, you’ll lead a high-performing team driving innovation in geoscience systems and data management. This pivotal role ensures our data is secure, accessible, and trusted empowering smarter decisions from exploration to evaluation, extraction and mine closure. You’ll champion technical stewardship, governance excellence, and future-ready strategies that demonstrate our purpose in action. Reporting to: Manager Resource Characterisation

 

 

Superintendent – PT&E Systems and Data Management

 

This role provides leadership across the Planning, Technical & Environment (PT&E) function, aligning with our purpose of “Together delivering sustainable solutions to enable WAIO now and into the future” by enabling technology solutions and data governance that uplift workforce productivity. You will drive the delivery of systems and data strategies, and ensure alignment with global data and risk standards, to deliver right time, right data, right use concepts.

 

Reporting to: Manager Spatial and Geotechnical Engineering (with a remit across the broader PT&E group)

About You

 

Geoscience Role:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geoscience or Information Technology
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including exploration or mine production.
  • Minimum 5 years in geoscience systems or database management.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, project management and leading through change.

 

PT&E Role:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in mining, engineering, or data-related disciplines.
  • IT qualifications highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in data governance, risk management, and technology enablement.
  • Experience in project delivery and change management.
