About the Role

 

The Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE) has been created to define a new way of working and remotely yet collaboratively support our sites around the country to deliver safe, sustainable improvement focusing on our equipment performance. 

 

We are recruiting for newly created role where you will be part of a contemporary team, utilizing innovative tools and technology to add real value and new approaches to maintenance as a profession – providing services where there are benefits to centralization and scale, and support to our people. 

 

Reporting to the Predictive Monitoring Superintendent, you will oversee the Asset Health Evaluation team across Australia and ensure the effective monitoring and analysis of Asset Health information trends. You will work to maximize warning time and drive action with stakeholders to prevent failure or performance degradation of equipment. 

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Oversee the review of Asset Health condition information such as Oil Analysis, Vibration, and FMS health data, as well as the outputs of automated predictive models. 
  • Ensure the review of SAP work history to gain a holistic understanding of equipment condition. 
  • Supervise the creation of work notifications in SAP for remediation of equipment condition. 
  • Collaborate with site-based teams on planned and corrective work decision-making processes to improve equipment health. 
  • Test and provide feedback on predictive model performance and improvement opportunities. 
  • Liaise with condition monitoring service vendors such as oil analysis laboratories. 
  • Drive improvement of enterprise systems for Asset Health Evaluation workflows. 
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. 
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures to maintain high standards of Asset Health Evaluation. 

About You

 

As the successful applicant you will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  

  • Relevant tertiary or trade-based qualification with proven experience in asset health monitoring processes and procedures in complex capital-intensive industries. 
  • Demonstrated experience in people leader role and/or responsibilities. 
  • Your people and communication skills are of the utmost importance, as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating, and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders. 
  • It is essential that you are a team player who promotes and supports workplace diversity.  
  • You will have a focus on continuous improvement, leveraging technology to improve efficiency, and be passionate about delivering extraordinary results.

Location

 

This role will be performed from our Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence based in Brisbane, or Perth, supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around Australia and the globe.
