The Olympic Dam Drill & Blast Underground team is seeking an experienced Drill & Blast Supervisor to help shape a safe, high-performing and supportive work environment.
In this key leadership role, you will coordinate and oversee daily underground blasting activities, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant production outcomes across the Olympic Dam operation. Working closely with a skilled and supportive team, you will drive high-quality planning, execution, monitoring and continuous improvement across all drill and blast activities on site.
About the Role
As a Drill & Blast Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and support the Underground Blast Team to deliver safe, compliant and effective blasting outcomes
- Oversee daily shot preparation, timing, QA/QC checks and blast initiation
- Collaborate closely with stope drillers, stope chargers and the magazine keeper to meet production schedules
- Foster a culture that prioritises safety, teamwork, clear communication and continuous improvement
- Support the training, coaching and ongoing development of team members
- Champion inclusive, respectful and consistent ways of working across the blast team

To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- South Australian Blast Licence
- Extensive supervisory experience within Underground Drill & Blast or underground blasting operations
- Strong knowledge of drill & blast planning, field operations and safety systems
- Proven ability to build trust, motivate teams and help others perform at their best
- A calm, inclusive and proactive approach to decision-making
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance and high operational standards
