About the role
We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Supervisor Electrical Maintenance Execution based within our Operations Services team.
Reporting directly to the OS Electrical Superintendent, this role is responsible for collaborating with a number of different stakeholders and leading a highly skilled team of Electrical Technicians to safely execute Electrical Fixed Plant maintenance.
You will coach and mentor employees, drive a strong safety culture and ensure safe systems of work are in place for all activities.
As a Statutory S26 Appointed Person, you will ensure full compliance with the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
Your duties will include:
- Foster positive & productive working relationships and team culture
- Set and maintain clear safety standards with your team
- Lead safety investigations and risk assessments and provide quality reviews
- Build capability through coaching, mentoring and provide technical advice and support to your teams
- Attending planning meetings and reviewing scopes of work
- Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities
- Timely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in Fixed Plant Electrical maintenance
- Experience gained in a shutdown environment would be advantageous
- Australia recognised trade qualification
- WA “A grade” Electrical Licence
- Unrestricted C class driving licence
- 1SAP, planning and work management experience an advantage
- Strong safety leadership and safety event management experience desirable
- Positive and motivated people leader with a focus on culture and team diversity
- Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influence
- The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships
- Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
