About the Role

 

We are currently looking for an Electrical Shutdown Supervisor who will provide leadership to a team who will be focused on the safe and quality execution of the shutdown plan and schedule.  

 

This is a permanent position on an 8d 6x 7n 7x Tuesday start roster FIFO from Perth.   

 

Reporting directly to the Shutdown Services Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising a diverse group of electrical maintenance technicians and isolation officers executing fixed plant maintenance activities in a shutdown environment.  

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Overseeing positioning de-energization of fixed plant equipment & balanced machines for shutdown maintenance.  
  • Installation of lockbox permits by correctly identifying isolation points and following lock out and zero energy confirmation processes.
  • Execution of planned electrical maintenance activities in a shutdown environment.
  • Follows the shutdown management framework to achieve required milestones within the current shutdown cycle
  • Manage and coach work groups on quality, task-based risk assessments
  • Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coach field leadership activities

About You

 

  • Strong safety leadership skills and history of field leadership participation
  • Be process driven
  • Experienced in 1SAP work management
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional risk management skills
  • Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn
  • Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations
  • Sound time management skills

 

 

Licenses and Appointments (once in role):

 

  • Current Western Australian “A” Grade Electrical Workers license
  • Current unrestricted West Australian ‘C’ class license
  • ES26 Statutory Electrical Supervisor Appointment
