About the Role
BHP is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for our Infrastructure Maintenance team for our Mining Area C and South Flank Hub. Reporting to the Superintendent Infrastructure and Services, your role will involve safely leading and supporting a team comprised of Electrical Technicians, Contractors and Fire System Inspectors in the maintenance of all non-plant infrastructure on site.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations namely with S26 Statutory Supervisor.
- Monitoring of asset electrical integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements
- Overseeing compliance with electrical standards, weekly work schedule, operating standards, procedures.
The role will be offered on a fly-in fly-out basis from Perth, working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Leadership Experience: In a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Technical Expertise: WA “A grade” Electrical Licence or Engineering.
- 1SAP, planning and work management experience
- Operational Knowledge: Demonstrated working knowledge of infrastructure maintenance practises.
- Safety Leadership: A track record of championing safety initiatives, critical risk management, and fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems while ensuring efficient and sustainable outcomes.
- Collaborative Mindset: Interpersonal skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Positive and motivated people leader with a focus on culture and team diversity
