We are seeking a Supervisor for our Mooka Ore Car Repair Shop, reporting to the MOCRS Superintendent, this is a FIFO and/or Residential role based in Port Hedland (Roster is 4DX4NX8Off)
About the role
- Effectively plan, schedule and manage resources, equipment and personnel to achieve team KPI’s
- Experience in developing staff, managing risk, problem solving and achieving results
- As a BHP responsible person, ensure compliance with the requirements of the Rail Safety Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act and BHP Procedures
- Lead and Coach teams in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
- Support and encourage strong levels of engagement to drive our site safety and performance
- Strong commitment to field leadership program and coach field leadership activities
About You
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Proven experience leading and developing large teams, with a focus on building a strong team culture and driving continuous improvement
- Build positive relationships through effective communication with all employees and stakeholders
- Trade qualification or equivalent degree in a related maintenance discipline preferred
- Hold a current and valid Drivers License
