About the Role

 

In this dynamic and rewarding role, reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, your responsibilities will include the following: 

 

•    Responsibility for a team of Breakdown Fitters, HV Electricians, Communications Technicians, Auto Electricians.
•    Management of 47 x Komatsu 930E-5 Fleet, Caterpillar 785-D Watercarts & ancillary fleet including Caterpillar 18M, 24M Graders, Caterpillar D10T2 & D10 Dozers, Komatsu WA1200-6 Loaders plus others
•    Working on the soon to arrive Letourneau 1850 Electric Loaders
•    Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations namely with S26 Statutory Supervisor 

 

The role will be offered on a fly-in fly-out basis from Perth, working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

About You

You will have significant experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy mining equipment. A strength of yours is your ability to communicate efficiently, ensuring the development of team members through your influencing and relationship management skills. You will be a proactive, credible and influential member of the leadership team whilst building trusted, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.

 

Our successful candidate will need to be suitably qualified in order to manage all aspects of the departments deliverables and supervisor core routines.

 

Experience, skills and qualifications required include:

 

•    Large mobile fleet management experience viewed favourably 
•    WA “A grade” Electrical Licence
•    Unrestricted drivers licence
•    1SAP, planning and work management experience
•    Strong safety leadership and safety event management experience
•    Positive and motivated people leader with a focus on culture and team diversity
