About the Role

 

We are recruiting Shift Maintenance Electrical Supervisors for Port Maintenance at Finucane Island & Nelson Point on a day/night roster. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and enjoy working in an inclusive team environment collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure a safe and reliable plant.  Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Superintendent at Finucane Island/Nelson Point, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and stable fixed plant asset performance for Port operations. Supervising a diverse group of electrical maintenance technicians, executing fixed plant breakdown maintenance activities.

  
Your duties will include:   

 

  • An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities   
  • Supporting the health and wellbeing and sustainable training and development of team members  
  • Build relationships across functions to achieve positive working environment for task execution   
  • Managing the day-to-day operations both in a planned weekly space and also plant breakdown activities  
  • Taking responsibility for identifying and resolving problems, and for assessing the potential impact on production, plant and equipment   
  • Leading and coaching team members in the active pursuit and achievement of maintenance and productivity targets   
  • Monitoring and measuring standards of work and performance of team members   
  • Maintain 1SAP supervisor processes   
  • Identify, report and rectify hazards   
  • Manage and coach work groups on quality, task-based risk assessments   
  • Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coach field leadership activities 

 

 

About You

 

Skills and Experience:  

 

  • Electrical WA “A” Grade License or electrical engineering degree   
  • Experience with fixed plant maintenance   
  • Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams   
  • Excellent safety leadership skills and history of field leadership participation   
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills   
  • Experienced in 1SAP work management   
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn.   
  • Current unrestricted West Australian ‘C’ class license   
  • S26 Appointed
  • Previous Electrical appointment desirable
