About the Role

Perth City Square is home to BHP’s Technology Remote Operations Centre (TROC).  The TROC team purpose is Ensuring safe and reliable technology operations across Australia.

 

TROC operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week supporting a wide range of safety and production critical Operational Technology (OT) to prevent or minimise impacts to our Minerals Australia Operations caused by failure in critical technology services.  TROC also coordinate major Technology maintenance release windows, ensuring risk is mitigated and impact is minimised for Technology Australia's planned cybersecurity and operations change. 
 
Reporting to the Manager TROC, the Superintendent TROC Service Management provides leadership to the TROC Enablement, Change & Release and Observability teams.

 

Whilst the 24x7 TROC crews arr focussed on the management and support of on-site operational technology and systems, the TROC Service Management team provide essential technical support and enabling monitoring toolsets. This role presents a terrific opportunity to lead a high performing team that provides essential capability for Technology and Minerals Australia. 

  

In this role, you will be responsible for and have the opportunity to:  

 

 

  • Lead a diverse team of high performing leaders and technology specialists deliver the TROC purpose
  • Leverage our BOS Practices to deliver continuous improvement and create a high-performance team culture 
  • Continuously improve cultural performance by coaching an embedded culture of trust, inclusion and respect  
  • Work closely with Minerals Australia Operations leaders to ensure operational technology is enabling safe delivery of production targets 
  • Manage the outcomes of the Technology Change Advisory Board (CAB) for Technology Australia
  • Enable TROC to be at the forefront of technology observability and monitoring practice and toolset
