About the Role:

 

We are currently recruiting for a Component Fitter for our repair centre in Mackay.  You will be responsible for rebuilding heavy mobile earth moving equipment, predominantly CAT components.

 

Your role will involve, but is not limited to:

 

  • Rebuild engines, transmissions, torque convertors, wheel ends and differentials
  • Diagnosing, analysing and repairing components
  • Creating a safe learning environment through mentoring our trainees and apprentices

What we are looking for the follow:

 

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Quality focused in component overhauls
  • Experience working on CAT Power-train components
  • Knowledgeable with CAT SIS systems and parts listings
  • A proven commitment to safety
  • The ability to foster a teamwork atmosphere within your work group
