About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Material Logistics Officer for our Rebuild Centre in Perth.
The Material Logistics Officer enhances operational efficiency by coordinating the delivery and staging of materials for our frontline maintainers. This ensures high schedule compliance through the minimising of waste associated with parts. This role serves as a pivotal link between Planning, Execution, and Supply.
Your role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibility
- Review material requirements for planned outage activities and ensure timely availability
- Monitor and follow up at risk and unavailable parts to avoid schedule delays
- Work with planners and supervisors to identify critical parts and escalate part availability risks
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel for receipting and staging of materials
- Ensure staged parts are labelled, organised, and aligned to the weekly schedule
- Support Return to Warehouse (RTW) processes
- Liaise with vendors to confirm material deliveries and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date records in SAP for material movements and status
- Report on material readiness for upcoming scheduled work in balancing capacity and demand routine
- Support improvement initiatives related to inventory control, waste reduction, and supply visibility
- Contribute to metrics reporting on part-related delays

About You
- Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and the environment is essential
- Experience in SAP functionality
- Prior warehouse experience (highly desirable)
- Maintenance process knowledge
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Excellent communications skills, across all levels of an organization
