About the role

We are seeking Expressions of interest for Trade Assistant candidates. You will join one of our Maintenance teams at our mine sites in Moranbah or at our Repair Centre in Mackay.

We welcome those who are looking for that family friendly roster.

 

If you have experience working in a Mechanical or Maintenance type environment assisting Trades people, we would warmly encourage you to apply.

Bowen Basin Part time Roster

  • 7 x 12-hour shifts, 21 days off.   FIFO available from Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville and bus available from Mackay.

Mackay Repair Centre Part time Roster

  • 4 x-10 hour shifts, 10 days off.  These positions will be residential for Mackay.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of mobile plant and equipment
  • Carrying out inspections and repairs on equipment as per maintenance strategies
  • Performing work orders as per schedule to a high standard
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and work to a high degree of safety always

About You

  • Mechanical hands-on aptitude
  • Industry experience in a Maintenance or Mechanical Environment ideal but not limited.
  • Good communication and positive attitude
  • Team focused, with a high regard for safety in the workplace
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team
