We are currently seeking a Transport Supervisor Busses on an 8/6 FIFO roster to work within our I&S Ground Transport Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages all transport logistics planning and execution during unplanned events that impact people's movements.
- Run risk assessments with Contractor when required.
- Implementation of new routes.
- Operational assessments in field.
- Bus stop assessment and route assessments.
- Event investigation.
- Managing work instructions with Vendor.
- Supporting Manager and Superintendent in CCV, CET close out.
- Weekly safety cadence meetings.
- Reviewing monthly invoicing against contract.
- Requesting quotes for additional services. Requested through the new route request form process.
- Responsible to improve the bus utilisation percentage across the portfolio.
- Analyze / report on bus utilization gaps monthly.
- Project manage EV bus project (once live).
- Manage costs within budget incl. cost saving initiatives.
- Create new bus timetable monthly or when changes occur + issue to FIFO Logistics.
About You
- Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment is essential.
- Demonstrate experience in a leadership role.
- Strong contract management skills.
- Experience in SAP functionality.
- Maintenance process knowledge.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mining operations and accounting practices is desirable.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Excellent communications skills, across all levels of the organization.
- Appropriate administrative and planning skills.
- C Class Driver’s License.
